Bari Wolf


Bari Wolf is an Associate at Vernon & Ginsburg, LLP and has been with the firm since 2015. Her practice is in litigation and transactional work in real estate, disability and commercial law, including condo/coop issues, rent regulatory and housing matters. As part of her practice Ms. Wolf handles issues concerning companion and accommodation animals.

Ms. Wolf is proficient in Mandarin having lived and worked in Shangai.

Ms. Wolf serves on the New York City Bar Association Animal Law Committee and the New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law. She recently spoke on a panel at the New York City Bar Association titled Defense of Housing Claims Relating to Companion Animals.

Prior to joining Vernon & Ginsburg, LLP, Ms. Wolf worked at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and as an Assistant Law Clerk at the New York State Supreme Court/First Department Appellate Term. Ms. Wolf received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Occidental College, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors including Dean’s Scholarship and induction into Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Wolf received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law School, where she graduated cum laude and received honors including a Full Ride Honors Scholarship, Public Justice Foundation Fellow, and First Year Excellence Award. She also served as an Editor on the ACTEC Journal and studied abroad in Belgium and Cuba during law school. Her law school work experience includes the New York State Division of Human Rights and New York City Parks Department as well as clerkships at the New York County Housing Court, First Department Appellate Term, and Second Department Appellate Division.

Ms. Wolf is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts.
